Introduction-

First of all, tppking is the act of firing missiles at a partied or unpartied but unhostiled player, quickly creating a town portal, entering it, and hostiling. This, in effect, will cause the missiles that you fired before, previously

harmless to the enemy player, to become hostile to them, and damage them. Because of the high speed necessary for utilizing tppk, few players do this legitly. Most players use clan sponsored hacks to autoaim fire missiles,

create a tp, enter and hostiile in less then a second. These clans and their names will be discussed later on in this guide.
This guide will discuss the fundamentals to TPPK, and many other things. You will learn to recognize it, otherwise known as 'OMGWTF HEZ PKER!1111' as soon as one enters the game. I will also discuss avoiding it, using it

yourself to kill others, and every other question you can ask. I will also explain which characters can avoid / tank tppks.

Useful Phrases / Words and their Explanations-
[b]Warning: All of these words/phrases WILL be mutilated, destroyed, and reassimilated. Pubs (See Below!) on BNet, WILL use these incorrectly, incoherently, and just idiotically.
-PK: Player Kill
-TPPK: Town Portal Player Kill
- LOL: Laugh Out Loud
- FAGGOT: A bundle of Sticks, or a player who has just offended you by preforming a wanton action, or saying something to you. Sometimes, nothing at all.
- FUCK: A common expletive used when one has just been wronged in some way.
- OMG: Oh My God! Another commonly used phrase when an event that occured was one that was not expected, or did not wanted.
- ROFL: Rolling On Floor Lauging: Phrase that is commonly used to express humurous surprise. (ROFL U JUS GOT OWNEdd11!!1)
- OWNED: The act of doing something or saying something to another player that has justified you as being the winner.
- EZ: Easy. (Example: LOL I EZ U - This commonly used insult means he has 'owned' you, but it was so 'ez' to 'own' you, that he has 'ez'd' you.)
- NOOB: (Aka: Nub, N33B, n44b, n00b, neb, nob, newb) A new player. Used on anyone except someone who has played the game for less then a few weeks, it is an insult.
- PWN: Own with a P, used to describe 'own', but since they 'owned' you so hard, they feel the need to invent a new word, because the old is inadequate.

Note: Some words are obviously abbreviations of others, so they won't be discussed. (Ex. IB = Ice Blast, FB = Fire bolt or ball)

Basics
-Where is TPPK used?
TPPK is used on hardcore, in every realm. Once a hardcore character dies, it does not return, so people found the cheapest possible way to take out a persons character.
-Fundamentals
Explained Previously. A tppker shoots missiles at you, makes/enters a tp, and hostiles. The missiles, if aimed correctly, will hit you, and you will take damage.
-Why do people TPPK?
They are insecure in real life, so they feel the need to dominate others online to boost their self-esteem. Or.. they're bored and want a thrill in the game, at your expense.
-How do other see TPPK?
Most legit players see TPPK as one of the dirtiest acts that can be performed. Legit HC clans do not speak the names of tppkers, they utter them darkly in secret places, performing cleansing rituals after they do. You can

'fuck' a players family (with or without lubricant), kill their family, eat their rotten flesh, kick their dog, but if you tppk them in a game.. then, it's on. However, this quote states the belief of many others, please try to understand it. "TPPK regulates the price of shakos."

What characters, and what skills can utilize TPPK?
- All Classes
Anyone with a bow can use tppk. Anyone with charges of class skills that are used in tppk, can also do it.
- Paladin
See above. Paladins have no inhert skills useful for TPPKing, they are the least and possibly never seen of all TPPK classes.
- Amazon
Guided Arrow | Lightning Fury
- Necromancer
Bone Spirit | Bone Spear | Teeth
- Sorceress
Fire Bolt | Fire Ball (Forget if this works) | Charged Bolt | Lightning | Chain Lightning | Ice Blast | Ice Bolt | Orb (On rare occasions i've seen it work)
- Druid
Tornado
- Assassin
Shock Web | Blade Fury (Untested, but hypothetically yes.)
- Barbarian
Double Throw

Avoiding it
- Recognizing TPPKers
There are several types of names TPPKers will use, and if you find one in your baal run, it is in your best opinion to stay in town and warn others, or leave. Usually, they will either use: Short, Cool, 1 word names (that were

obviously name botted or saved from a long time ago) such as Run, Destroy, Penar, etc. TPPKers also use names that it would be funny to be killed by, such as: aCatapult, aCow, HorsePoo. They will use blatanly obvious

names as reverse physcology, such as: TPPKER, ITPPK_U, TPPK_PKPKPK. And finally, they will use names that will seem to NOT be TPPK names, but they will still be pretty blatantly obvious, such as: NecroMF, xXMfJaVaZoNXx

(She's holding a faith bow?), MF-SpiritNecMF.
- Avoiding tppkers
Simply put, leave. Run. /o igw, /dnd, /squelch *notapker. If they are running the baals your in, sit in town and watch someone die. If they join your baals, go private. Watch out though, usually they have a friend scouting

nightmare and normal games for them.
- Avoiding attempts at TPPK (If you must absolutely be in the same area, and partied with the person)
If they fire one of the afformentioned missiles at you, AVOID them. That or just leave the game. If you constantly run around, never stand still, run around pillars or objects, run behind other people, or just be as blatantly

untouchable as possible, they will give up and go for an easier target. Also, if you are the highest level in the game, you can be sure you will be the 1st target they look at. The ear is only as good as the level of the player who

it was chopped off of.
- Avoiding attempts at TPPK (If you are not partied. -Aka They hunt you down)
As soon as they enter your minimap, leave.

Common TPPKing clans, Names
- BMPK
BMPK. The original pkers. These guys are proud of who they are. They are the most feared name on hardcore realms, because, they were simply the first ones there. Most of the work in their triggers (hacks) are stolen from other people. Their leader can't program for shit.
- WtfPK
Leader: Jared or Fr0z3n. They are new on the scene, but quickly catching up and overtaking BMPK as the vanguard of PKing specialists.
- DankPK
This clan is a joke, and i'm not sure if it actually exists. Could have just been one idiot spamming after he killed using maphack.
- RfPK
A complete and utter joke. A group of pathetic idiots that can't tell enemies from clan members. (See This Thread: http://forums.d2jsp.org/index.php?showtopic=3099416&f=102)
- People using maphacks for the 'quicktown' or 'quicktp' option
They use a maphack to tppk. Don't worry about these guys, they got banned along with their hacks.
- Manual (Honorable TPPK [Oxymoron])
This is EASILY recognizable.. they just make a tppk, stand next to it, and shoot things at people around them. Crude, Slow.

- How to fight back
If you are rich/daring, you would have a dueler up to kill tppkers. You challenge them. You come, since they obviously have maphack, wear crap gear like full griswolds, then when they get outside to camp town, switch gear and go pk them. Chances are they have flash hacks, so watch out. Make sure you have a fast computer. Have a belt full of JUV's, because they will. Go for one hit kills, as they will chicken out of the game. Thawing pots are your best friends.
- How to win a moral victory
Declare them 'n00bz' and leave the game, or prove to them that their existance is meaningless and futile, and anger them into making a mistake, where you will use the first suggestion to ruin their day/life.

Common TPPK builds (Figure out skills yourself.. they should be obvious)
- All Classes
Stick a bow on someone in a chant game. You must be level 9. You use chant damage to tppk, it's easy, cheap, and it will annoy them but not piss them off into spambotting you.
- Paladin

- Amazon
~ Guided Arrow
`Use enough points to wear your gear in strength, 100 or so in vitality, and rest in dex. Dex = Damage. Use the following gear:
Faith GMB (14-15 Fanat) / 2x 15Ed/IAS Jewel GSkull / Cats Eye / Fort / 2x Ravens / TGods / IK Gloves / Marrowalks
`This setup gives you about 4-5k damage, survivability (sorb, life). On switch make sure to use mosers or whitstans, so you have max block, along with Titans. This way you can trick them into believing you are a javazon, enabling you to just switch to faith for the kill.
- Necromancer
~Bone Spirit / Spear / Teeth
`Base Strength / Dex for max block or none / All vitality
`+6 Spirit 'White' Wand / +3 PnB Helm / +3 PnB Amulet / Enigma / Darkforce or 'Splendor' in a +3 Spirit Necro Shield / Arachs / 2x SOJs / Trangs Gloves
` Used 9x PnB GCs / Torch / Anni / Rest Life Charms
This build will easilly net you upwards of 5000 or moer spirit damage, 2-3 of things is enough to kill most characters.
- Sorceress
~ Ice Blast
`Str for Spirit monarch / No dex / All vitality
`Nightwings / Fathom / +3 Ice Blast Ormus / Spirit Monarch / Arachs / 2x SOJs / Magefists / +3 Cold Amulet
`9x Cold GCs | Torch | Anni
`This build will easilly give you 10k+ Ice Blast Damage, a few of things blah blah, kill most characters. (Unless they are well built - Read Below)
~Charged Bolt
`Str for Spirit monarch / No dex / All Vitality
`+3 Light circ with facets or griffons / +3 Light Amulet / charged Bolt Ormus / Eschutas / Spirit / 2x SOJs / Arachs / Magefists
`9 Light GCs / Torch / Anni
About 1.2k CB dmg per bolt. 24 bolts = Massive Damage
~ Fire Bolt/Ball
`Read Above
`Eschutas / +3 Fire Helm / +3 Fire Amulet / +3 Fire Bolt Ormus / Spirit / Arachs / 2x SOJs / Magefists
`9x Fire GC / Torch / Anni
You will hit upwards of 25k+ Fire bolt damage.. omg massive.
- Druid
~Tornado
`Str for Spirit / No dex / All vit
`+5 Nado Pelt / 3 Elemental Amulet / Enigma / Hoto / Spirit / 2x SOJs / Arachs
`9x Elemental GCs / Torch / Anni
About 7.5k-7.6k damage built correctly, down to about 7k without good synergies and high level.
- Assassin
~Shock Web
`Str for gear / Dex for gear / All vit
`+3 trap claws x2 / +3 trap circ / +3 trap amulet / Enigma / Arachs / 2x SOJs
`9x Trap GCs / Torch / Anni
No idea on the damage here, never made one.
- Barbarian
~Throw Barb
`Str for Gear / Dex for Gear / All vit
`2x Eth Lacerators / Fort / Arreats / Highlords / Dungos / 2x Ravens / IK Gloves / IK Boots
`37x Max Damage Charms / Torch / Anni
Can get 10k+ damage, maybe more on a good roll with amp casting.

Builds to TANK TPPK?
- All Classes
You will need several things to avoid being tppked, or being able to tank them: High Life / High STACKED Resitances / Max Block / Max Damage Reduction / CLAW Block / Anti - TPPK / Chicken / Fast Reaction Speed
Life, Resists, Block, DR, CB are obvious. You can survive with higher life, elemental attacks are lessened with better resist, bone spirits can be blocked, DR counts for physical attacks, claw block can block tppk spells as well.

Anti - TPPK, Chicken can be gained with hacks. They will automatically leave the game upon hostile.. detects someone firing at you.. someone trying to tppk you, etc.

Fast Reaction Speed - You can avoid the TPPK so the missiles don't hit you.

You can still simply level up any character (preferably zon for guided arrow) to around 20~ or so, get a point in guided arrow, any bow, chant damage, and you're good to go.
