Uhhhhhm...I have only ever heard that it's a standard flu that targets those that are already weak - I've not heard of those in their prime being the main deaths or even the main cases. In fact, I heard two warnings this morning that it's possible most people 18-40 will likely show mild symptoms and may think it's just a cold but should quarantine themselves anyway to avoid spreading it.

If you look at the link Slactor posted you see that the number of people infected outside of Mexico is nearly as large as the number of people infected in Mexico, but the only casualties so far have been Mexicans. Statistically there should have been some deaths outside of Mexico, but there aren't any. Most likely, the intel given by Mexico is far from realistic, because the current numbers they give us make it seem like the disease is only lethal to Mexicans. A lethality rate of 4% inside of Mexico but not even 1 dead foreigner when there are almost 200 confirmed cases outside of Mexico? With my previous post, I was referring to the fact that the Mexican government is lacking in informing the Mexican people about the symptoms and that a large number of infected people aren't even aware of it. I mean, today is the first day that Mexico has more confirmed cases than the United States since the beginning of this outbreak. My previous post should be taken as criticism on the Mexican government.
