Started watching 'Last Action Hero' but gave up halfway through.

There were some good jokes, but the magic ticket is a lazy plot device. And the kid's acting was so bad that I couldn't put up with it too long.

I love that movie

watched Contact for the first time

would have loved to see a remade version where Jodie Foster is removed from the story completely. She was an annoying bitch the whole time, Karen'ing all over everyone she met. The highlight of the movie was when Angela Basset finally shut her down once, telling her to stay calm and not leak any more information.

The movie had a noble goal (of trying to get religious people and science people to work together). I give it a lot credit for that.
