Plot holes out the ass. They could have just done what they did at the end, in the beginning. And no one would have died. The longer the movie goes the more ridiculous it gets lol
saw the tomorrow war yesterday and as someone who has attempted creative writing (i sucked ^^) i know what makes a believable character. One of the main things is to have a character act to the maximum of their ability. The future daughter has some men using ropes to contain the queen critter when there's ample sedative available. Put said sedative in darts and shoot the critter a few times and you save at least the half a dozen men who try to put the critter on a leash. Then use said half a dozen men to drag the then unconscious critter in the cage.
another thing: the communication between the critters is painfully obvious. Why have that critter at the utmost important place to draw in all the males???? I mean they already stated that the males would be happy to sacrifice themselves defending the queens.
these are 2 glaring examples of characters NOT performing to the maximum of their supposed ability. It seems it is done to make the situation more grim/dramatic than called for.
Another thing that put me off was the blatant politics front and center: the screw-up grandfather, the screw-up dad and wife/daughter are perfect in every way. Only when both the white men are willing to give up their lives for the women, they become redeemable. I hate identity politics and it should have no place in entertainment whatsoever!
If you can get past these things and the plotholes, this movie is for you if you're into an action/scifi flick.
