Just watched The Pianist again.

The movie doesn't feel dated at all. Still as great as it ever was.

I had high expectations as my friend for some dumb fucking reason hyped it up and told me it will remind me of requiem for a dream, specially the ending and since requiem is my #1 film of all times i was hyped af to watch this

but it was nothing like requiem...and i failed to see any resemblance specially at the ending so not sure wtf he was talking about

well made film overall, would have been much better if it was more weird and awkward all the way through, perhaps something like funny games, it would have been 10/10 film for me, the massacre was awesome however

it was final scene where they on the phone to each other and lying to them self like "everything will be ok" and where you think they made enough money to buy the house but it was just a dream...
