Indicated directions are with respect to the centre of the map (the location of the entrance).
Using Anya's portal in HarrogathIn the Halls of Anguish / Halls of Pain, there are 3 possible spots for the stairs leading to the Halls of Pain / Halls of Vaught.
#1: West corner.
#2: South West, at the bottom.
#3: North East, at the top.
While this is not the fastest method, it is still faster than teleporting around at random.
Using the Halls of Pain waypointThe location of the waypoint uniquely determines the location of the stairs leading to the Halls of Vaught.
a ) South (waypoint)
West corner (stairs)
b ) East (waypoint)
South West (stairs)
c ) North West (waypoint)
North East (stairs)
In the Halls of Vaught - which way is Nihlathak ?Ever wondered about those "wall paintings" in the corridors?
Most of them are situated on the same walls and in the same order - save one whose sole placement reveals in which direction Nith is.
< Red evil eyes in a grey "web" pattern >
In general Nith can be in any of the directions NW, NE, SW, or SE - each corresponding to a certain placement of the evil eyes.
Here are the 4 wall spots to be checked (notice their locations on the automap).
< NW (left) and NE (right) >
< SW (left) and SE (right) >
The red evil eyes as well as other wall patterns are found on several walls in the Halls of Vaught. But only the red evil eyes may appear
on one of those 4 wall spots. Wherever you find it is the direction in which you will find Nith.
