a drummer has to use wands as no drummer would use clubs to bang the skins. The elemental damage is to take out the critters after CB has done its job.

I see, then the current build I am developing would not be considered a Drummer. It has a few of the same ideas, but is going in a different direction.

Side note. You mentioned Open Wounds as well as Crushing Blows to cause a Slow but Painful death, Now because you are using the lemental to finsh the job, I have to take it that open wounds does not finish the job?

Let's see, we'll do some very simple maths and assume that you have no ias, and there are no breakpoints (i hate calculating with breakpoints).

With duress, you'll hit 1 time, 75 CB = 75 CB per x time unit
With Treachery, you'll hit 1.45 times, 60 CB = 87 CB per x time unit

So treachery triggers CB more often then Duress in this setup.
The poison damage ends every 0.4 seconds anyway, since it's from venom. So no big problems there.

OW would take forever, its there mainly for the stopping of the critters regeneration.

@ yerk, i just added up the CB to get to 75% of the time. I plan on using IAS in the gloves, and probably on the one wand. I do not think I need more than that really. If so, I hope a highlords falls for me soon.

Well the search for a 3os armor and elemental damage wands was fruitless last night. For right now, the Barb is stuck in the rougues camp in NM. He will not go any further without a second wand. The MFing did produce some items that I have not had this ladder such as atma wail armor and ghoulhide gloves. Other than that, it was pretty un eventful. I think only 4 elite armors fell and none were socketed. Oh yea, aldurs armor fell from a popable in act4. I will be searching tonight for the drummers gears.

Do you still have your socketable quest in norm? If so I'd like to suggest perhapse, maybe doing a few solo norm cow games and look for either BP or Light Armor. Both when socketed will give you 3 os, It is how I got my treachery for my baba. I tried to mf in both norm and nm (I'm up to Act 2 currently) for 3 os armor, and even kept checking all vendors with no luck. Ran 1 cow and Found a regular BP, bam I had my treachery.
