It could spawn in D2lod, not sure if that’s changed with d2r like holy shield on scepters and whirlwind on helms

I'm pretty sure it can as well, person said oak sage stops spawning on the helm as of a3 normal though. I don't know if i've ever seen oak sage spawn past those acts too

Actually how now that you mention it I believe they’re right, I think +5 is the max… and you usually have to make a delirium for it

Affix level 50 (+2 druid skill) doesn't mean item level 50 :
a high quality level Pelt may have affix level 50 with low item level (low enough to spawn Tier 2 skills, like Oak).

You can produce a low item level rare Pelt with :
- rolling recipes ( 6 p.skulls, or 1 p.skull + 1 SoJ)
- imbuing

Aim at item level 12-18 for the best chance of spawning +X Oak.

Dream spirit with item level 12-18 has affix level 71,
Sky spirit with item level 12-18 has affix level 67,
Earth spirit with item level 12-18 has affix level 53.

Since those recipes only work with rare quality items, you cannot do the same with magic Pelts.
Hence +6 Oak isn't possible (+3 to Summon is a magic-only affix).”

Maxroll lists a lot of impossible rolls, no surprise. +5 is max.

you need a very low ilvl for a pelt to be able to choose oak sage, and you need a high affix level for it to be able to choose +3 summoning tab
you can get a low ilvl / high affix level on the elite pelts with a high quality level, but they cannot drop at low ilvls unless they are cracked / low quality. You can't drop magic or rare versions of them at low ilvl, since any monster/area that low level can't drop them in the first place. You can make create low ilvl rare elite pelts by cubing them with recipes to lower their ilvl, but you can't do the same to create low ilvl magic versions. Hence, no +6 pelts exist, but +5 pelts do
and obviously you can just ya know, make a delirium out of a 3 socket +3 oak sage pelt dropped in norm
