Hi guys

My pc just crashed and now a offline character is gone And I'm not even able to enter any games on any other characters

Have anybody found a fix to this?

I've been scouring the internet for a way to fix it with no luck so far..

They might be gone, offline char files are stored locally, usually under Account/saved games/diablo 2.

They're not huge files, so in the future you can make a copy of them and save them on a cloud in case you have a computer issue, or want to switch computers and bring your chars over

Yeah I figured. I have created a google drive that auto syncs the files every time I turn off my pc.

Don't feel like starting all over again. Might change in the future tho

if you know what level your char was what quests etc you had done you could always remake the char in the online hero editor and give yourself some of your items back and carry on from there
