Since the burden of proof is on me, I would say that it is strange that the FAKE FRAUDULENT original audio. showing a Patriarchal Cis White Male stamping on the disenfranchised, such as Blacks and Jews, made national news and headlines.

Now that there has been a change in the story, since the Athletic Director FAFO'd, it has been buried by the media. The recording was made in retaliation for the principal (white guy) investigating the AD (black guy) for money shenanigans. Racism is the lowest of the low hanging fruits.

I think deepfakes and misinformation are a top concern in our rapidly advancing technological landscape, and that it would behoove all of us to be mindful of tribalism when looking at an issue that we should all be united behind given how ubiquitous the impact is/will be.

Tribalism is what got us to this point in the first place.

There is also AI being used to shadow censor and lead thought on the mainstream platforms often guised as protecting the users. This usage and general censorship pattern is concerning when it leads to echo chamber scenarios and false sense of genuine discussions. Maybe not as front and center, but I see this as a major fail when it comes to social media sites. Think freedom of speech rights should be honored by the company hosting your speech data. Law should have these sites not be able to doctor the public discussions without notice to other users of the manipulation.

Also reflecting on this, technology gave humans an objective medium to capture events. Only lasted near 225 years, not too bad. Remember reading even the first photos were manipulated though, objects put into scenery to make photos more appealing.
