Like Diutinus said, jobs. Why work only 40 hours a week when there’s 168 available?

you're far more likely to lose money in a business like that than you are to turn a profit. Especially in California, this should be a total non-starter there. And just to break even you would have to dedicate a lot of your time to managing the business, which is hard if you have a 9-5. And you have to be good at it.

Working weekend or evening jobs is your best method.
