I watched Cooley’s latest DFC stream and noticed a vita blizz sorc using a setup with 8 facets (2 in orb, 2 in circlet, 4 in jeweller’s of the whale armour). Is this the meta for vita blizz now?

Also, is it necessary to have a high/ max block setup and setup vs cold? If so, what would the swaps be?

Coa 2 x 40cr adds jool = 110cr.

Pretty solid vs blizz, i can also easy swap items to make it vs all and still cold stack. Swapping fcr ring with wisp and spirit with sop and i abs all and still have like 43% dr and Max block and my 75fcr/86fhr.

Anyway, stack depends on ur char type.
Sometimes u can use wierd setups, like a rabies wolf can easy use a 110cr wiz dagger vs blizz, but ideally i build character to play vs any type, i dont usually focus on 1v1 setup, i prefer build them for 1vX, this way you have more fun and more viability in pubs/tvt.

No real meta. People have different setups for different situations, especially vita sorcs.

I was asking about a vita blizz build and what the swaps would be vs another cold build. I understand the facets are there to still deal significant damage through the 450 cold res cap, but vs cold I assume it would be necessary to sacrifice damage to ensure you aren’t one-shotted? Unless you go all-in on damage in the hope of one-shotting your opponent?

I suspect the meta has changed at least partly due to the changes to FHR. Sorcs seem to be targeting 60 rather than 86 now. I’ve also noticed trapsins using facets in their claws rather than traditional FHR/rep/all res jewels.
