Initially I thought about comparing Hunger Games to Harry Potter-Hunger Games being a first-person perspective novel whereas Harry Potter is written in the third. But these two are apples and oranges. They're different genres, appeal to different audiences and let's be honest; they weren't even written with the same world view. What I'm asking you, o reader, if you will bare with me (not to mention exercise a little neuroplasticity) is whether or not you are bothered by one or the other. Or at least, if either of them is more enjoyable to consume.

I don't think either one is more or less first/third person. They're both the same to my knowledge, but I've only seen like the first 2.

But to answer your question in your post, HP way better.

Hunger Games is written entirely through the perspective of the protagonist, Katniss Everdeen. It's first person

Harry Potter is written primarily in the third person limited perspective. While most of the narrative follows Harry Potter's experiences, thoughts, and feelings, it is narrated by an omniscient narrator who has access to the thoughts and feelings of other characters as well. It's third person.

Uh, maybe I'm not understanding correctly, but you're saying Harry Potter has a narrorator? Do you mean figuratively or...? cause Harry Potter doesn't have a narrorator.

Yes, Harry Potter has a narrator, and it's not one of the characters in the story.

I guess a detail in this thread should be is if we're talking about the books or the movies.
