I see doom runeword on ethereal ettin axe or berserk axe.. why do they make doom on ethereal item? don't they break?

For Cold Sorc eth weapon is fine for lower req’s.

they could of just made them in a normal weapon. don't make sense.

Style points my man.

-60 doom one hand weapon is used by a cold sorc (mainly), and weapons do not lose durability it not used in a melee attack. So a sorc casting a spell does not lower durability, so can be eth or not, but style points for eth. I have eth doom war axe -60, use eth hoto on druid, etc

If the sorc is using spirit shield they'll have the str req for ettin or beserk axe. Would only really need to go with double axe if the sorc is using some other shield with a low str req.
