i was wondering if anyone has any info on how much it takes for alcohol in an unopened bottle to evaporate  ?

lets use this for example: unopened cognac bottle (so 40% abv, high quality cork), room temp, no direct sunlight
any ideas?

Allot of science and elemental factors goes into this such as humidity, concentration, sunlight, temperature just to name A few, suggar content being another one .. so this seems like a fun experiment to analyze

I believe it has to be stored in a way that cork remains hydrated, upside down or on its side perhaps

If you found a thousand year old bottle you have to drink it.
