What is god mean as a set? I see most have 15000 percent damage but how does this trump that?

gears of dreadlands is the demon hunter set name, it's a really good set right out the gate without much help needed. a lot of the heavy damage modifiers come from just the GoD set it's self, where as other builds/classes need damage modifiers from cube etc.
