I am kind of computer illiterate but is there any CPUS on amazon available for my motherboard that would be a noticeable upgrade? I play alot of games with the biggest hog being Path of Exile, I've pinned it down to a cpu issue and not GPU related causing my a lot of stutters and performance drops.

Will tip for solid advice towards a purchase. For reference my ram is below.

The 7700k is approaching peak performance for that socket, so upgrading it would be a waste of money

If you want a meaningful CPU upgrade, you're looking at getting a new motherboard/CPU/RAM configuration

Jump to AMD 7800x3d with new mobo/ram.

Juiced maps really hit the CPU hard.
