ok i got a pally that im self-welding infinity man catcher with. using foh zeal and holy shock and holy bolt. for gear eventually ill be using enigma and griff with it. just playing around with gear right now. trying to find a good balance between ias ar fcr and dr. i think highlords would be the best ammy. right now, without any ias zeal is a little slow. i think im going to need 1 raven.
so i guess gear would go like this:

raven
dual leach
soe or dungo? he is squishy but arach would help to tele faster
trangs?
idk for boots aldurs maybe?

am i going to need more than 20 ias? will more than 40 frc be need? any ideas?

calculator says that the important ias breakpoints for pala zeal with mancatcher are 16 and 63, with 29 and 48 as intermediates. you could reach 63ias with highlords/20ias gloves/10ias belt/15ias jewel in griffon. this would still allow you to hit the 30fcr breakpoint with griffons + 1 ring, but you wont be able to hit 39 or 48fcr. alternatively go for 75fcr with griff/arach/20fcr gloves/10fcr ring and highlords/15ias jewel in griffons for 35ias total. depends if you want to focus on attacking or casting
for mobility, you can always tele on switch. but for teleporting over distances, i would go for 75fcr because it feels quite slow with lower breakpoints for me

why waste two crucial gear slots on an aura that you can either slap onto your merc or just use yourself?

thanks that helps a lot. if i go 40fcr that will give me 75 in switch. i think i have a 35 frc pally spirit. for holy bolt too. hm could make a fighting cta as well and have a 100% useful swap. ar would be a problem without conviction though.

D2 has become a game that has been figured out, with no profit to be made by farming. so people play the builds they enjoy, no matter if they are game-breaking or not

update:
i figured out 20ias is good enough. he does good zeal damage and doesn't seem to need any ar. the range of the spear keeps the smaller mobs away. got to be careful not to get surrounded. that's not too hard because he is really fast. you can almost pretend this is a melee char if you use dracs. using principal also works well too. he don't need much life and mana leach. im got to put a point into redemption and maybe get rid of the leach ring when i respec.

yeah, Infinity is good for melee, which offers -def, cb and FRW! it works wonder on Blade Fury Assassin too
