need your opinion whether to run storm or phoenix monarch on javazon HC. Mostly will be doing p8 tz

Phoenix is fine for HC as well.

Unless you accidentally tele into a fana super strong pack.

Or enter a hot cows tp.

Then., a SS and 60+ block could save you

I’d use SS if you plan on hitting 99, if you don’t plan on hitting 99 you’ll be just fine with a spirit or phoenix, I always go max block 50 dr with some avoid/evade/dodge and like ashirgo said, unless you teleport into fanat +might dlords with amp or something along those lines, you’ll be aight

But some people are in favor of phoenix for convenience or spirit for fcr as they don't feel they need that extra safety with a fully geared java.

It's up to you, really.

I’d run stormshield on HC. You can certainly use Phoenix or spirit or 20/20, but it just takes one misstep and it’s all for naught.

My first Java has a ss played her to 98
My second has a spirit now at 93

Both work very well but I prefer spirit

I'm a phoenix fan myself for java. However, before I was able to run the phoenix I used SS with MB and was very tanky. I only play HC so when using SS most tend to go MB anyways.

Shields are for pussies. If you’re not raw dogging them monsters it’s not hardcore
