Hey guys - does anyone have any insight on ideal level and vendor to shop a 3os mask in d2r classic non expansion? I have seen in the forum someone said lvl 18-19 and ormus or hratli. Can anyone confirm best way to obtain one?

To my recollection, items with sockets can only spawn in normal A1 & A2.
I'm not sure if masks are enabled that early though.
I guess you need to check normal drognan|elzix|fara to be sure.

Thanks for the reply - I can confirm you can indeed shop socketed helmets in act 3 and 4 at ormus and halbu. Have yet to see 3os ones but I know I have shopped them before so it’s annoying me. Also for those that don’t know, you can shop exceptional magic weapons starting in act 4 nm including bhams Martels etc. can come with 100ed and 20 max Dana get rolls meaning you can shop a 218 Martel technically. Also you can use the 3 flawless gems combo after vendoring a Martel to reroll with 1-2 sockets and forced ilvl 25. Perfect for starting seasons off and never seen anyone else talk about it. Oh really? I could have sworn A3 & A4 items are magic-only.
Or maybe they have a very low spawn rate and i was unlucky enough, i guess.

I know he does.
And it does matter, since magic items can't spawn with sockets at vendors.
