It's like with footballers. The uglier they are the better they perform. Tal sorc it is

I would say it's better to specialize a bit.

For exemple, I am leveling a sorc to become a mf fire sorc, which I believe will probably be godly vs TZ Andariel, which is the queen of mf.

I also plan to level a sorc to 96 and make her a mf blizz sorc for other locations.

Light sorc generally have more "many areas" power if you don't want to specialize.

For leveling those, I use an ES nova sorc build.
