I am not very experienced with CL D2R.
Would a +5 energy shield staff be useful for prebuff?
Since obviously no memory runeword =)

Yes it's usefull but it's worth some low coins. You can shop it :)

Pretty rare to see this in a 1x3 but still not worth much. You might get 25 for it. Very difficult to shop a 2/3 1x3 though.

I will add something too.
Having also at least 1 chilling armor would increase its value up to few hundred. It would be nice precast staff for pvp sorc with es. Also at least 1 shiver armor would make it slightly more valuable.
