Max block without cta is a tradeoff…

You’re better off vs physical, but worse vs elemental.

Well, the truth is that if you want to use sorcs biggest advantage (teleport) effectively then you kinda need a cta in HC.

Without it… it’s up to you what tradeoff you prefer.

I’d go no block until a cta (or at least a decent amount of life charms).

But there are no right or wrong answers here.

Also, and maybe that’s most important, consider what you want to farm. Pits, for example, I’d go with whitstan’s max block. Chaos… probably no block. And so on. Doll explosions (catacombs) can be blocked.

Drop a synergy and get 20 tk and 1-5 points energy shield and a cure/prayer/'insight merc.

Spirit is too hard to give up.

You dont need max block or stormshield. Just more effective hp

How important is fhr when going max block stormshield? It seems like the only reachable breakpoint is 42 fhr with a stealth armor and 4x 5fhr sc's. Otherwise I have to sacrifice alot more life from charms. I am at 900 life atm

Not important since they’ve made the changes to fhr so that you can’t get stunlocked. You can totally neglect it or get like 5%/9% breakpoint. Depending what charms you have, really.
