So I dont get it, is there any reason for me to try running sanctuary on my summoner necro or will it not do anything with amp damage

There is no reason to run sanctuary aura on summoner necro. Merc should use Infinity, Iron Golem should be made from Insight and you can use Beast if feels so, basic Hoto or Arm of King Leoric’s also are good opinions. Auras what your Summoner should run are : Conviction, Meditation and Fanactism.
