Bash synergy is not worth much, I agree. I’d gladly spend extra points into natural res, even with the diminishing returns. Trash res charms are surprisingly hard to buy early ladder.

Yeah if I had to do ubers with a conc barb at level 80, Id definitely nix the whirlwind and dump a bunch into howl, possibly max battle cry depending on gear (like having resists but not enough attack rating).

Lets restart this topic... Where would you farm in the beginning?

If someone out a gun to my head and told me I had to farm hell trav with a barb in a few hours.

I would just max warcry, find item and synergy and get a might merc with any big damage polearm (that preferably doesn't shatter corpses).

Then when you get some gear swap to zerk.

As far as doing it all melee I would farm hell countess for the runes for oath and hit every weapon rack for an eth elite 2 handed sword that can have 4 sockets. Make oath as a 2 handed zerk barb and win. 20 zerk 20 bo a few find item 20 find pot, rest up to you but I usually slam 3 to 5 points into nat res on a poverty barb.

Honestly just use meh fire resist (ideally like -50 to 0) and then equip a rising sun

Grief + 6x Ist or 6x Lem Phase Blade is the only choice.

He's got an unbending will in a phase blade lmao, he needs to actually stay alive to kill things and the lightsabre does nothing compared to the shield.
