Every sorc should use this. Idc what type you are. Aside from mele sorc or bear sorc. There are much better options for your merc than infinity & you can obtain every fcr rate while holding it on your main hand.

The only infinity worth your time is scythe or GT for merc if you have to.

PVM you should always self wield for the aura, light sorc gets the bonus - to light but the Aura is already at -85% there are no weapon combinations that beat this for any sorc. COLD and FIRE both can benefit from this. The ability to turn your merc into a monster that can defeat all end game bosses arises instead of just a support character for the aura.
For instance an act 2 merc with eth bonehew shaeld out, treachery & gaze will anihilate dclone and almost every boss but your infinity merc will get owned 1v1.
