Depending on age... 88% of horrors are a comedy show with loud background sounds/music that spoil shit.

No ... really... you hear a noise in the middle of the night, you walk outside and there is Music playing in the back ground? Do you walk in the open where you can see anything coming at you? If not... maybe you should, I mean walking along your wall means you get blind sided and lose your head... how many people walk in the middle of the road late at night going home? None right, yet it is 95% safe from attacks, you just need to be cautious of traffic.
