I want to make an enchanter that strickly buffs others, I don't actually want to play the character.

I just have a simple question, does % fire damage effect the enchant on OTHER people? Or do I just stack +skills. What about - fire res as aell?

skill level and fire skill damage are important, - enemy resist is only applied to targets hit by yourself (so you dont need that)

Save those fire facet unless you got too much extra

% fire damage works twice

so it works from the user the moment enchant is cast, and then if the person who uses the enchant has % fire dmg its again applied to the attack

hence why a bow sorc can do 24k guided arrow when enchanting herself (or easily more but 24k with 2.5 fpa)

but the second application doesnt help if you just use a chantress as support character (thats what OP is going for), correct?

it works if he has % fire damage from facets it also works on a trang oul necro who has fire mastery from gear (there it actually affects it greatly)

but it will never be as much as on a sorc

if someone has 25% fire dmg from 5 facets it will never compare to a sorc having 300% from fire mastery on herself



my sorc has about 6k enchant damage and 24k on herself cos she has 300% fire mastery, if i cast my enchant on someone with 50% fire dmg from facet he will get 9k enchant damage, and a trang oul necro with enough +all skills can get 107% from his fire mastery and deal just over 12k enchant dmg
