D2r How Do You All Handle Multiple B.net Accounts? - Topic

I'm looking into getting an alt account for storage and making buff chars. I am wondering what you all do when doing this? From what I know I can't buy another copy on the same battle.net account. Which means I have to make a new one which is fine, however I would want an authenticator on the 2nd account. Can I simply use my current auth code for multiple accounts? I don't have a 2nd mobile device to add an authenticator to.

Their authenticator is a proprietary shithouse one and you can only have one account tied to it.

Unfortunately you'd be best to set a complex password and have MFA disabled (not a great practice I know).
Hard to provide advice on this forum without breaking any rules but ignore any guides (eg the plethora of outdated YT guides) that require you to launch the game via the battlenet client and copy the game folder.
The best way is to launch from shortcuts using parameters, it's much faster and less finicky.

Works somehow like that, personally i can open 4 x D2R and playing full game with my older brother

e: BTW you must change some setting for running 3 or 4 D2R, or at least i have to change a video setting a bit :lol:
