In a day of no real choices and no real surprises
Trump and Biden both win their overwhelming share of delegates, and Nikki Haley drops out of the election as was forecast.
At this point the only takeaways are the meta commentary on what % of voters chose 'uncommitted' with up to 20% in Minnesota, or some total nobody from Baltimore who had never visited the island beating Biden in American Samoa, or Haley winning a Vermont primary where Democrats pretended to be Republicans and somehow cast 5000 more ballots in the R primary than D primary in a D+36 state.
I guess now the only question is whether anyone will actually be aware if/when Dean Phillips drops out of the race, or that Cenk Uyger was ever in the race.
Those votes in Minnesota are only half-serious IMO.
I think those people are saying, "we wouldn't pick Biden first, but when forced into a binary situation we will probably still vote for him." Trump may be underestimating the interest he generates among Democrats NOT wanting him in power at all costs.
