What is gold for? New. Is this game like RuneScape which means time played equals progress and no shared exp gaming?

Pretty much just for buying new gear/consumes every 2-3 levels to keep up to date and stronger. With the addition of 100% exp bonus 1-39 going in, cheaper mounts(40g cost) and boosted coin reward from quests on the 5th(tuesday) no one will really struggle with gold anymore unless your server has vastly inflated from bots/gold buyers already.

I can pw lvl you for fg also gold is only for rare black market mounts or paying for potions phials tunes ect

Game had shared exp farming?

the game has different versions, you would have to clarify which you mean for a better answer but power leveling for gold has always been a thing

What is better classic or original? Don’t tell me classic is better just because d2 classic suck.

depends on what you like, both are good. With an active sub you can try both out and see which you prefer.

wow is a social game so whatever version you play will only be as good as the people you meet and play with (except hardcore classic which is fun solo)

they are completely different experiences. modern wow is more for the queue up and go gamer, classic is for an mmo experience

btw gold in modern wow is mostly for pve consumes. otherwise for transmogs, carries, mounts, wow tokens, enchants
gold in classic is for pve/pvp consumes, enchants, being able to afford a mount(very pricey in classic), and gearing alts
