What exactly did Steve Baker do besides being a journalist covering an event?

To be fair, if I intruded into a federal building, I would expect to be in jail for the rest of my life.

The Democrats faced a similar situation in their protests of Gorsuch and Kavanaugh. They didn't face similar charges.

There is clearly a double standard when it comes to these things.

It might be because Trump made the FBI his enemies when he labeled then the "deep state."

Tragic in many ways. I wouldn't compare this to Putin though. Putin is a mafia leader in an oligarchy. People protesting Navalny's death were arrested even in allowed areas under unclear legal circumstances.

You wouldn't compare it to putin. That's fun. Tell that to J6 defendants who're still in solitary nearly 3 years later with no charges and no speedy trial rights.
