Is there a difference? Robes seem to be aplenty on the MP whereas padded are much tougher to find.

Is there a preference? Not sure if Padded is for casters or what.

personally i've not really noticed any difference, however i'm generally using decent gear anyway.

Defense using lvl 55 padded robes with 0ee and base stats of 100 vit, 20 int
Physical: 0-54
Magical: 32-80

Defense using lvl 55 padded robes with 0ee and base stats of 100 vit, 20 int
Physical: 0-27
Magical: 32-96

I'll let you decide from that which if it's worth it or not.

well arguably it does, seeing you take slightly more physical attacks than you do magical.
But you seem to follow my own thoughts of that "both are terrible, it doesnt matter"

I strongly suggest padded, i know both arent great but i went with reg robes first and they didnt offer any protection, it seemed.

Once i started collecting padded robes, it felt like it provided much more protection from monsters.


But like Bighead said, just got to tough it out on those classes. -Also, some people use stat robes to solo and just max out vita.

Absolutely noticed it too. Gonna get Stat ones for lower levels and probably 20+ gonna go all Padded.



It's like choosing to die by fire or drowning. No win. 😂
