The irony here was that it was the position of Democrats and anti-Trumpers that a vaccine would not be something they'd take were it released under Trump. There was no possible way it would have received adequate testing, and probably wouldn't be safe. Frankly, I agreed with them. That it turned into some purity test once "their guy" got into power was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen.
But at least Trump can honestly say that he fully supported the vaccines and their development and distribution from day one. Dems can't. Unfortunately, Dems attempted to use federal authority and state authority to force people to take that experimental drug, so their "We were against it from the start" fallback vanishes more quickly than Pfizer advertisements from those critical of their jab.
that's how the left operate. i also remember when he received a ton of flack for wearing the mask. then they eventually wanted to mandate it
