at least the defenders could use the "free game no bitching" argument, as much as thats a low iq argument too

probably the reason that they couldnt have gone for the f2p business model is because that model requires the game to be at least decent (and the diablo franchise hype would do the rest). when you have a good game, f2p business model nets way more money and companies know it, so when they opt out of it on purpose, that usually means they know they have a shit product

it just simply should of been good....

the issue isnt the predatory monetization itself, or it being free to play or not... its the fact that the predatory monetization seems to be the priority while the game is absolute garbage....

Do you think POE2 won't be a big success? hmm.. I can understand that POE might have a huge difference in overall ad-spend advertising dollars in the multi-millions compared to Diablo 4/Blizzard's crazy budget

I think POE2 will probably have a very large following and I think gamers who like the MMORPG and also those who've already purchased D4 may most likely buy POE2 in the future

Honestly I think POE2 success and sales will be very big, I didn't purchase D4 because I don't usually pre-order and Beta was sad so I never bought D4 at all, still wouldn't play if it was free tbh!
