Would have been pointless for her to try to deny the relationship at this point since they already have pictures of them together, receipts of them on vacation, and its being actively litigated in his divorce with her being subpoenaed
She's going to make them pull teeth on this one, only admitting to what's already proven beyond any doubt and trying to deny everything past it, even if we've got ample evidence.
She says she received no financial benefit from the relationship. After they went on expensive vacations together and he paid for it. After he left his ex wife to be with her. As if giving money to friends/family/lovers isn't already a conflict of interest in and of itself

What if I told you.... this has no bearing on the case since there's no disadvantage to the defendant.

Of course you won't care, because it's just about smearing a prosecutor who brought an inconvenient case, rather than the merits.

the entire point of a special counsel is to insulate a prosecution from conflicts of interest. Like wrapping a sheen of latex around it. When it can be shown that special counsel shares a raging, bulging and rock hard conflict of interest with the prosecutor, it obliterates that layer of insulation, and all the poisonous fruits can be borne of their union

1. She hires her BF, along with 2 other outside firms, and ostensibly is paying them the same rates for their services.
2. He has little to no experience with federal criminal prosecutions, yet he bills more hours, BY FAR, than the other firms with these tasks.
3. The billing must have become a big issue with the county because his next 2 six-month contracts limit the number of hours he can bill.
4. He uses this financial windfall to shower her with lavish gifts.
5. She is receiving financial benefit (at taxpayer expense) for the pursuit of this case, that would not have existed without the case. <--- This is a conflict of interest. Many legal commentators have already opined that her case is unorthodox, unique even, and weak.

If the case is not strong enough to bring that's a judgment that is not dependent on some relationship.

This is just a thinly veiled smear job with no implications for the case.

Very true.

Side note: Maybe you should start writing those tawdry romance novels. :D

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee has already scheduled a Feb. 15 hearing focused on the allegations.

Must be some merit. I doubt a Superior Court judge would hear the case if there weren't.

Also, I seem to remember you getting all wound up about a Supreme Court judge accepting monetary favors.
So you're saying the laws are now... different?

I thought justice was supposed to be blind, not... bedded.

Most everyone else thinks it's not strong enough. She did, and is profiting from it.

Smear job or not, she brought it upon herself.

Don’t you make entire clarance Thomas smear topics?

Incoming, oh that’s different.
