I do amphetamines myself, but I can share my experience about crack cocaine.
I knew a guy Jimmy who sold crack, and he had an marketing offer that the first rock was free, so naturally I said I'll smoke $10 worth of free crack.
Now as far as the 'High' goes, it feels exactly like coming down on cocaine, maybe it was just some low quality crack idk, the only other notable things were I thought I could visually see further in distance, and my ears had a ringing sensation.
Overall not worth trying again IMO, Amphetamines are a much cleaner high without a real come down, as well as being cheaper and more effective of a stimulant.
Tell your friend, getting high on anything is about experiencing the ups and downs, not to try and stay at the peak constantly.
That mantra has kept me out of lots of problems, mainly becoming a junky, I was the only person I knew who would play with the stuff and put it down until next week.
