Okay... during my bufcore adventure, I came across a Goocidic (Well monster spawn) @ 9.??.

I took the last 4 digits of my experience points: 9495 and Goocidics -X# experience points left me with 8001 thus I lost a total of: 1494 experience points.

Just for insurance, my current full experience points are:

8148001 (level 9.14)

I should get Goocidic to use its' ability again... yup, activated, I now have:

8146521 (level 9.14 still)

Experience points lost: 1480

So with that being the case ... the experience point loss so far is around 1450 points per Goocidics ability.

Need to test this with other Mobs with the same ability.

EDIT: happened again from;

6521 to 5056 = 1465 ... still level 9.14

Okay... Reduca is the next mob to test how much experience is negated.

I am reasonably sure it's % based and not a fixed amount. As I said I lost a good 5% from a single ability.

This evidence suggests my guess is correct but also means you need to fight these at 70%+ exp to get useful data in terms of exp loss

I pretty much had the same results as previously mentioned ... this is what I stated on the previous page in this thread:

Did some testing yesterday with a Map that spawns Goocidic:

Angelic rigid beach map
Level Required: 20
+129% Warm Light Effectiveness
Quantity: 1
+39% Level Up
+25 Level Cap

Completed 3 of the 4 maps from 42 to 57.

I found that Goocidic did not remove much experience from the Experience Bar as in % ... on many occasions it did not even reduce 1%, so I have a feeling that it is just based on the specific experience points gained from the monster:

example: 700 - 1,300 experience points (normal kill) which will show a minimum of 1% gained for that monster killed. But, Goocidics ability would say remove -10% (as an example) to 700 - 1,300 = 630 - 1,170.

I will test a bit more... but this is based from Solo running, it maybe different in a group run by multiplying it by number of people in the group. However, I don't think this is at all what I was hoping.

i meant when i got hit once i lost 5% of a level, which is what, 50,000 exp?
this is nothing close to your results i've seen so far.

It's based on how close you are to your next level as far as i'm aware. But my testing was immensely limited.
If you're fighting mobs of a lower level than you, it may be weaker.

Practically similar to how dying on SC used to work of losing 10% of your current exp, so dying at 20% towards next level only lost 2%, whilst dying at 90% lost 9%

Dang... you could have more than something here... what character class were you using? Both of my tests are just feeder classes since HC got reset.

EDIT ... the map testing... yup... I was like level 47.87 and did not lose 1% on the Exp bar ... if I remember the numbers correctly.

probably warlock. would have been a standard mob.
this is also much prior to the last patch, exp loss could have been nerfed on mobs also

Thanks... and yup I thought about that a minute ago... now I can test if the v1.33.1 Update has bugged the new Monster & Emblem effects removing Experience.

Both of my tests I have done are also prior to this update. Damn it... now I have to stop drinking to pay more attention to detals.
