we were told that the only reason not to have more stash tabs is the way game is programmed (it loads all inventories of all ppl you encounter)

but in solo self found there is no multiplayer - so why not enable more space in this mode ?

They were lying.

I expect they were planning to sell stash tabs as extras but the game kinda died before they could.


There's no trade in the game so why would you be loading everyone's inventories / stashes?
