I honestly cant see these being all that great, we dont know what items will drop from the 50 raids (expecting to see epics). Will hit really be that useful if items from the raid will more than likely have it?

It's not about "hit", the weapon skill decreases the damage penalty you suffer from glancing blows vs bosses. It is HUGE, i'd really recommend looking into how weapon skill works for dps.
