i guess im not really an elitist, i like when everyone can afford good items
thats the 2nd most important reason i liked harvest! 1st ofc being cute plants !

now im kinda an og d2 player, there everything was about pvp so everyone kinda wished everyone else to have good items because that made pvp fun because everyone could afford it! probably theres way less of that "friendly competition" in poe because poe is literally ABOUT collecting items, thats pretty much the endgame so i might be wrong when it comes to this ! the only thing im certain about is, one shouldnt need to play any game as a full time job to have at least 95% of the items! top items fine, best players only should have those. but everything else...yeah i dont mind casuals having those !

It is bad only if you follow 1-2 most meta builds. Otherwise, it is better than ever. MB and HH are super cheap (along with Sqires, Unnatural Instinct etc.) while any non-meta strat gives 10-15 divs an hour even for a newbie

Best casual league in a while tbh I've enjoyed it played many more chars than I usually would do off of just a little MF at the start

The only people getting whinny and bitching about everyone else having more loot is the ones that abuse the game for profit instead of having fun the intended way. Having the game centered around trade and balanced around it always was the single worst decision they ever made.

i never liked that either i remember that transition actually, the way poe went from "this build is so fun" to "this build nets you 15 div/hour"
the community changed too, for better or worse (from our viewpoint its worse, but from ggg's it might be better, as those are the people that will be there every league). now theres no fun parties like before, its just...grind
but oh well, too late to make changes now. people who play poe now are those who have this mentality, they are in like its their job. the only thing others can do at this point, is leave

I don't think you're looking at it from an experienced player's perspective. If you've been playing every league, and don't get me wrong- the game does have a lot of mechanics to dive into. But there's no way that I can sit there and deep delve every league. Or boss/etc. The loot explosion is why we play now, it's the dopamine hit. Everything is always about how much currency can you strategy pump out in x time so you can try fun builds. Fun shifted from content to theory crafting a long long time ago.

yeppers, thats why i said in the post before that one that i could be wrong about this im well aware that i simply dont understand the poe community as it is atm. poe now is for competitive people, im not very competitive! i prefer to peacefully design my hideouts, which is why the only char i ever min/maxed was a zero cooldown lightning warp sorc so i could move through the hideout faster
