Honestly, if you want to start unity is much better than godot, last week I started making my first game, so I installed godot because I heard it was good, and it was pretty painful and honestly made me want to drop it.
There's very little information and for some reason the documentation is in form of tutorials?
Went to unity after 2 days and I'm having a blast, information is everywhere, documentation is great and forums are vast so most issues already came up and fixes are available.
