im trying to build a card game, my buddy suggested to create it using godot but i am completely lost

What is your background? Do you have any unity or any language under your belt? never messed with Godot though

this tutorial is so basic it wont help much more then if you opened up some random card game tutorial and started from there

Honestly, if you want to start unity is much better than godot, last week I started making my first game, so I installed godot because I heard it was good, and it was pretty painful and honestly made me want to drop it.

There's very little information and for some reason the documentation is in form of tutorials?

Went to unity after 2 days and I'm having a blast, information is everywhere, documentation is great and forums are vast so most issues already came up and fixes are available.

I've been using godot for a couple months would defo be interested in trying to help your idea become a reality. I've used unity and unreal before and much prefer Godot.

What kind of card game? I've been dabbling in pixel art and sfx etc also
