ive been playing for about a week now and want to attempt barrows..

I have these stats and 700k gp to spend, already have funll rune plate, dragon longsword, mystic air staff.
Barely have any quests completed, just enough to access barrows, kind of..
basically my goal is to beat barrows with these stats and f2p gear, any suggestions?

are you an ironman? Id suggest 43 prayer at a minimum and a higher magic level.

not ironman, i see that onlike every guide for the defense bonuses, but how much does it really help? cant i just take extra food to cover the damage i wont be reducing?

For protect melee. Dharoks will shmack you hard

fair enough,every guide ive read just says the melee is a joke but they all have 80+ stats..

if he is the only concern for melee damage, would i need to bring any prayer potions if i did him first, and ignore prayer for the rest of the fights?

the other one i was concerned about was ahrim's magic damage, the guides dont speak highly of that.. as if it was a bigger concern than melee dmg in general.

I cant really suggest much as I've never done it with stats as low as yours but im sure they will hit you pretty good.


Give it a shot and see if it is doable and change your inv as needed

I'd quest and raise your stats quite a bit before barrows unless your just going for fun. Not gonna be very efficient at all with ur current stats and frankly, gear too. Sub 1m is pretty weak for bossing. Others may disagree because barrows easy, but you can easily and quickly lvl up quite a bit before going.

You won’t be able to do it with your stats. I’d recommend getting 75 magic, 43 prayer, and 70 attack/strength. This way you can use melee to kill Ahrim, and then use a Trident of the seas to kill the other brothers. I’d recommend doing Monkey Madness as that will gain you a ton of levels, and allow you to equip Dragon Scimitars which is one of the best early game weapons.

yeah, dh will kill you no problem without prayer and if you had prayer ahrims magic wouldnt hurt you either...

43 prayer and 75 magic is highly recommended. 43 prayer is extremely fast if done at a alter or something along the lines of and magic can be quick and easy as well, even afk if thats what your after.
non iron should be very easy to achieve and get started at barrows
