So i made some attempt during the last high EP event, as EPs are where i've gotten 60% of my drops, 30% from welling and rest from random mobs, never had any luck from a chest.

Got to 92 and had to town twice vs groups of 3x eps and fish to full health (waiting on regen wont work as they'll heal themselves)

So yes, i'd also recommend fish if you are intending to explore for level 85+

i'll add some additional clarification, i was also shrining and never really had any mana issues, got way more shrines (even after selling the mutables) than i needed to keep my mana supply perfect.
The only issue was max hp versus groups of EP's, a really bad group will cause you to town multiple times or use extremely big fish/comfreys as i'm talking about taking roughly 1500 damage per second. enough to get ~5-6 hits in then town. repeat until one is dead.

I decided to MQ at 92, would rather solo back upto to 55 than get hit by a hard ep wave potentially die and lose prof. 2x EP stunners would cause a map reset for me.

So if anything, i'd go with closer to 140 vit by level 90 and think that leaves roughly ~90 base intel

I have done it on hc solo on a barb/pally. ( not worth it imo)
I used a lvl 50 warhammer 210ee/2xxee 55 chain/ and 50+ str charm used retribution a lot to clear eps/3 waves.
With the monsters taking abilitys this would be much harder now imo.
I would use at least 120 base vit prob a little more if casting.

E: also done a few groups it really sucked too lol
