I think it’s trading best practice to avoid new accounts, high volume traders, etc. However you must be discerning as a quick google search will also show you these same groups attempt to buy older, “trusted” JSP accounts, and recognize that they need to take certain steps to appear reputable.

Every trade here carries a risk of ban and compromises your account.

just got a 14 day ban and only gold i've bought was here for SoD.

First time ever buying gold for in Wow and banned a couple days later.

Out of curiosity: what happens if you get banned? Like do they take away your gold that they suspect you of having obtained in an illegal way, do they take all your gold?
Do they use something like a strike system where they say "next time you're perma'd"?

Very simple. Only Trade with main accounts. There is no reason to use fishy level1s

That was from trading Oldschool Runescape gold for it, I was a bit sketched out myself but keeping in mind this was a good few years ago (back in WOD lol) and haven't attempted it again since. I do feel that in some cases it is luck of the draw, but I think it goes without saying the same as any other game, we are breaking the games code of conduct and all risk that to happen

Edit: just saw the thread you bought from. That guy has gold on multiple relatively fresh servers and a post history of lots of trades… suspicious

They use burner accounts that they don’t care about to sell/buy gold on.
It’s especially profitable when all you have to do is pay for a subscription and not even have to buy retail.

Yea I would suggest never buying gold from someone advertising for multiple servers. thats just a red flag.

Yea I probably should of went with someone with a more expensive rate but freshly hit 25 wanted to get my tailoring and engineering maxed real quick.

JSP account age doesn’t mean much IMO since ppl are buying old accounts on other sites. It’s a weird market. The big red flag was having 300g+ on 5 different servers.
