Hi, today I was banned for "RMT" and i have never once in 19 yrs of playing wow, RMT'd.

I have traded some classic wotlk / classic hardcore wow gold for d2jsp gold (no crazy amounts, very casual amounts), and traded directly from one version of wow for the other.

AFAIK and understand this is not bannable, as im not purchasing gold, basically just trading it from one version to another.

Anyone had any success in appealing and overturning a unjustly wow ban from d2jsp use?

In blizzard’s opinion, your method of trading gold using d2jsp is the same as buying it from a website. It is against blizzard TOS to use this site

lol, imagine trading gold through 2 different games because they are different. And thinking you wouldn’t have the possibility of getting banned for what is an rmt trade, jsp is no different then rmt sites

Trading between Classic and Retail is not against the ToS. its the same game, same subscription, same account.

There's literally been video's and evidence proven that using D2jsp is not bannable for WoW, you can google it. It does not violate ToS.

Unless you are buying D2jsp gold or selling D2jsp gold, which I have never.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t “buy d2jsp gold” or whatever that means. And sure, having an account on d2jsp isn’t a van able offense. However - you traded in game gold for a digital online currency. That is the literal definition of RMT, and I am not sure what you don’t understand about that.

Again no hate, I just don’t see the confusion at your ban. I have purchased gold with forum gold, and that is violating TOS.

Again, you are allowed to trade wow gold for whatever you want EXCEPT for REAL MONEY. It's been clarified, you're allowed to trade it for gold in other games (digital online currency) as long as whatever you are trading it for, is not sold for REAL MONEY. d2jsp bans people who sell their forum gold for REAL MONEY, meaning if you use it the correct way, it should not be bannable.

Google "is using d2jsp allowed in wow" you will see many instances of people talking to GM's and them saying it is not directly bannable, but can get you flagged / make you suspicious of RMT.

Not saying that people do not get banned for it, I'm saying that they can not uphold a ban legally if you take it that far, because if you didn't actually RMT (REAL MONEY TRADE) not online digital currency that has no real world value.

Yes people are banned for it, no it is not Real money and doesn't directly violate WoW's TOS.
