I figure ill ask here so it doesnt get lost in the svs thread. Have you ever compared ES to Vita in svs? I figure smarter people than me know why there are no more ES sorcs on the ladder

I have one pvp sorc i keep respecing between vita and es for different leauges. In es, my damage is only 2 k lower but my total mana and health are 50% higher than vita health with 70% es. And it looks like you can have another +5 max res on top of that. Am I missing something?

So if you go toe to toe es sorc vs vita sorc shot for shot, the vita sorc has a large advantage. Mana quickly depletes, just leaving the lower life total to use. Svs matches are typically much more aggro than normal matches. So es sorcs (which have been in ladder) play more l8z to allow mana regen. The vita sorc, to combat that, will go very aggro ending the duel quickly. I personally have a vita fire and es fire sorc, the vita sorc is significantly stronger in svs. Glad to test it with you I can run either one.
A good example of this was showcased in cooley’s youtube channel. He was using his es fireballer against some vita sorcs one day for fun. He was saying how much stronger the vita sorcs were for svs, as he was shut out by a two different sorcs
