shit almost looked intentional to me

how do you intentionally go out to play hockey and kill someone? i seriously doubt he laced up the skates with intentions of taking someone’s life. how tf do you prosicute someone for this? smh

how would you punish this guy? 3 week jsp ban or what?

I guess footage of him involved in other incidents somewhat similar to this. ie, raising the rear leg to impede another player following a hit. So this motion is something he does regularly, this time it happened to connect in the wrong spot. Could be a manslaughter charge eventually?

he didnt hold his leg. He literally made a kick.

He's not charged for a first degree murder. You can prosecute someone for murder even if he didnt plan it, it's called Second degree murder.

His intentions were probably that he wanted to hurt someone like a kick on the leg or the arm, probably not a kick to the throat.

I think it’s one video from 12 years ago,

Won’t ever make manslaughter, a good defence will have this settled before it hits a trial.

I sit in court everyday it’s not even a possibility this charge sticks lol.

I mean. It's a reckless move that he's been proven to have done before. He's lifting the leg up to slow them down on the back skate. There's no way he meant to do what he did. But the move that was done accidentally caused johnsons death was probably iintentional and that's probably what the police saw during investigation.

You sitting in court literally has no bearing on anything. Not sure why that's a factor here?
