Would it be fair to criticize him for team hopping?

We all know Durant was criticized for signing with Golden State because they had Curry, Klay, and Draymond doing their thing already

Is it similar circumstances for Lillard joining up with Giannis, Middleton, and Lopez? Or would you consider it more “fair”

KD was with thunder/sonics for 9 yrs before bouncing, while dame spent 11 yrs with blazers before this.

situations are comparable but no so linear.
