Hello. Quick question regarding lifting my silverado. I'm looking specifically at loaded strut assemblies. Is all I need the loaded struts, new upper control arms, blocks + shocks for the rear?

https://www.roughcountry.com/product/premium-n3-lifted-strut-501089

https://www.roughcountry.com/product/premium-n3-shock-absorbers-23158b

Should anything else be replaced or is that a pretty safe and effective lift? I see some kits with tons of parts and wondering if it's all really necessary. Thanks!

rough country lifts are very entry level and their shocks are junk

that thing is going to ride like shit.

spend the $ and get a quality kit

carli/bds/fabtech/icon all good stuff. and get good shocks, king, fox, bilstien

also stay away from lift blocks. junk

have custom deaver packs in the rear of my 90 1ton sas bronco and they work so well off road.

gotta go 4 link at some point but they have been awesome for probably close to 12 years

So am I correct in thinking I only need coilovers, upper control arm, rear lift. I'm unsure what all the extra parts are in some kits and if they are necessary

yeah pretty much, there's prob some youtube videos showing the install process of that exact kit you're looking at. watch a couple of them to see the parts/tools you'll need to complete the job and how easy it actually is.

if it comes with a diff drop spacer, i'd throw that away

safe? Ya
But rough country will ride rough, i think stock struts with a spacer will ride better than rough country struts

mcgaughys and fabtech for ride quality
